Administrative Specialist- Engage in complex secretarial, administrative, and public relation functions to ensure the smooth operations of the Outdoor Wilderness Lab; including managing and reporting the budget, developing grant proposals and other fundraising opportunities, and being the overall first point of contact for the public and staff interacting with OWL.

Kitchen Manager (Chef)- NOW HIRING! Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for groups of

30-50 people. Menu planning according to D51 standards, serving and cleaning

are required. Monday- Friday during the seasons. Location: Grand Junction, CO

as shape the long-term growth and vision of OWL. Lead a team of field instructors,

teachers, High School OWL Counselors, volunteers, and others in developing and

instructing outstanding outdoor education experiences for youth.

Seasonal Instructor (Seasonal)- As a Seasonal Instructor, you'll make a direct impact

on the lives of kids in Western Colorado by teaching innovative, exciting outdoor

education lessons while living onsite at OWL's beautiful campus.

You'll work with a Lead Instructor and Interns in a high-capacity, team-centered envir-

onment that prioritizes the safety and well-being of all students while providing them

Interns- NOW HIRING! Be a leader! A mentor! A hero! Make a difference in the lives of kids! As an

OWL intern, you'll teach outdoor education and environmental science to 6th grade

students at OWL's facility, while ensuring their safety and wellbeing. As an

integral member of the OWL staff team, you are given real responsibility, gain

valuable experience, earn D51 credit, college credit, AND a stipend upon completion

of the internship. Monday- Friday during the seasons.

Nurse- NOW HIRING! Responsible for providing management of student health and well-being

while at OWL. Responsible for communicating and coordinating vital health.

Nursing Student Interns- Assist the OWL nurse in providing basic first aid and management of student health and well-being.
