Take Off- It was interesting to me how the competition for resources between cows and elk can be completely altered due to the interaction of the humans (ranchers). Solar System- Although the distance is so vast, the sun can still be seen from pluto because of its expansive light. Plant- I learned how some cacti could be mistaken for two separate organisms when it could be one connected underground. Archery- I learned the prober (safest) way to load an arrow into a bow and I learned how to identify which eye is dominant. Creek- I learned how biological clues, included various macro invertebrates, can help identify the health of the creek.

Cafeteria- Attempt to interact with all students encouraging them to share and open up. Also making sure everyone is staying healthy by eating and drinking water. Fraser- encourage them to be engaged in the story or activity. Allow them to have fun while still being focused. 9 Square/Animas- Create a structured freetime where the students are having fun and being safe. Engage and be involved in the activity (play 9-square, help with skit). Bathrooms- observe any negative behaviors occurring in the bathroom and make sure students are respecting their time and others time Tents- engage with the students in the tent and work with other adult to make the tent a fun yet calming environment

Geography- The granite cliffs within the canyon were part of the earth's crust 1.4 to 1.7 billions of years ago. History- Prospecting/ mining of copper and silver began in 1882 and came to an end in 1912 due to loss of resources. Plantlife- The Broadleaf Yucca can be identified by its long blue-green, spikey leaves, its long thin white hairs and the cream tear-drop shaped flowers. Wildlife- The Bighorn sheep, also known as the Ovis Canadensis nelsoni, uses their horns to protect their brains by absorbing the impact of crashes. Watershed- The water that comes through the canyon is set to pass through geologic features such as Cataract Canyon, Glen Canyon, and the Grand Canyon.
