"Working with Adolescents in Nature" lists several benefits to spending time outdoors; which benefits have you personally experienced during the time you have spent in the outdoors?
I personally love to be in the outdoors because it makes me think and it reduces my stress. Everytime I go outside I have time to process everything that is going on in my life and I feel so much mental clarity afterwards.
Some benefits I have personally experienced being outdoors is getting me moving and making me think more. When I’m outside, I’m normally doing something active like running, soccer or hiking. I also tend to think a lot about how Earth was created and how many incredible things there are to see in nature.
Some benefits I have experienced in the outdoors are that it provides a different kind of stimulation along with reducing stress. It is easy to get caught up in the problems that the world gives you daily and going outside in nature is just a very different environment were you don't have to worry about any of that stuff.
The outdoors provides many benefits for me. I mostly feel really focused and when I spend time outdoors, I can realize what matters most. It helps me to narrow my perspective and to be aware of the endless possibilities available to me.
I have experience many benefits while spending time outdoors! I makes me step back from my busy life and think about things on a deeper level, distress, and find more inspiration. I think the more time I spend outdoors, I also build confidence knowing that I know elements and activities involved with being outside.

I think it is important to be outside. For me it is calming and refreshing. I am able to focus on the present. I think the reset is necessary as society is always going next next. We also have the opportunity to be creative in our own way.
